Meet up and chat through tours agendas and camera requirements.
Photographying amazing animals with full tuition given if required. Including mums, pups, bulls and all the incredible interactions
Set up for doing time lapse over night and next morning (using cameras provided by Philip), mum and pup video and ID photos. We also try to get photos of all the pups to see what stage of development they are at. This is all done with no disturbance to the seals as we will be hiding behind some very convienant rocks!
We count all the pups on the beach and where they are from a safe vantage point on the way out. Using our cameras to get a record.
Should get back to vehicles by this time.
There are some great sea birds, including huge rafts of Eiders in Campbeltown so if you fancy a little more photography Philip will take you out for a wee urban safari!
We meet up to to look through photos, collate ID shots, edit video clips.
This has 2 functions, first to get all information sent on file for our monitoring and sent to seal conservation society. The second is to allow Philip to help anyone with questions on image processing, including photoshop or lightroom.
Philip will go and collect time lapse
We try and see how often mum comes to feed pups.
