Stories and pictures:

....and go!

Toads and frogs are simply one of the most photogenic animals on the planet and as a result, when running experiences over the summer, any sightings were eagerly tracked. However most of the time the cunning little devils would hop to freedom in the undergrowth leaving clients with a very artistic shot of rocks or moss. Perseverance and a little field craft usually rewards peoples patience with some stunning results that can be viewed in the guest gallery. However having spent the whole season watching a toad jump and not really seeing it, I felt it was a picture I had to attempt. Wildlife photography enables us to see things we simply can not register with the naked eye, and that is one of the reasons I enjoy it so much. The main picture, made me laugh as I think the poor toad was a little off balance when it took off.

Newsletter and photography should be resuming to normality now the main tourist season is over and I am very excited as I think I have found a few cracking locations to run extended and follow on experiences from, this month I will be exploring to see if they will work and I'll keep you posted.

I hope everyone has had a fantastic summer
