Snow Buntings
News

The Month of Love
Snow, snow snow, the last of which has sadly departed from Kilchrenan. Luckily though I had been booked to do a tailored experience for two clients up in Glenshee to photograph the magnificent mountain hare. They got some great shots and their pictures will be in the gallery next month. I spent most of my few days up there planning for the tailored experience, so did not get much shooting time. However I could not resist these fantastic Snow Buntings and spent a glorious afternoon watching them quibble over the crumbs they found lying around.

Funny thing was, the females (darker colourings) were always on to the food first. The boys never fought with the girls. However, when two males went for the same tidbit it all got a bit frantic.

Boys fighting, while girls feasted, an apt symbol for the month of love.
