A unique chance to spend the weekend photographing the elusive and magical otter, with expert advice and tuition. You will learn how to identify sprainting sites, tracks, holts and feeding sites. You will also learn how to approach and photograph these magnificent animals.

We will also be exploring the wonders of the sea shore through a macro workshop on one afternoon.

Timings and wildlife photographic opportunities will vary depending on weather, wildlife and tides

Price:£590 includes accommodation, return boat trip to Carna, photographic equipment, tuition and all meals (vegetarian).

Location: Isle of Carna, Loch Sunart.
Accommodation: Accommodation is on the Isle of Carna and is very basic. You will be sharing a room. There is limited electricity, provided by a generator for a few hours morning and night. The cottage is heated by a wood burning stove. For more information and pictures of the accommodation please click here.
Time: Friday 12 noon to Sunday 3.30pm
Date: 20th - 22nd April or 9th - 11th November, early booking essential
Who: This is aimed at people who have done the Loch Visions One Day Experience or who have a reasonable photographic knowledge.
Numbers: Min 3, Max 4 people, thus ensuring one to one tuition
Booking and payment: Need to book place before 29th February (for April weekend) or 30th September 2012 (for November weekend), contact Philip to find out details
